About Me
A Passion For Craft
Carly Sturm is from the Washington, DC area. She fell in love with acting at the ripe young age of 8 years old and hasn't fallen out of love with it yet! She received her BFA in Acting from Pennsylvania State University and promptly drove cross-country to move to Los Angeles where she currently resides. She also received a BA in Spanish and is fluent in the language. She has a passion for learning languages and is onto learning her third (ASL). She spends her free time travelling the world (35 countries and counting). She also keeps busy by teaching Yoga (Yoga Alliance ERYT 200 certified), practicing Tae Kwon Do (black belt), and watching Jeopardy, which she has not missed in over 6 years.
A Lifetime of Learning
She is working on both stage and screen. She has trained in Meisner, Stella Adler, and Stanslavsky technique, so she can bring a plethora of tools to a wide range of artistic environments. Additionally, she received training in comedic acting, accents, dialect transcription, and voice and speech (Kristen Linklater and Patsy Rodenburg technique).
